In review of Isaiah 41:10 it says, “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God, I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.”
Bottom Line:
Don’t be afraid or dismayed, for the Lord will strengthen and help you. He will hold you up with his victorious hand.
What this means to me:
I should not be afraid or tremble with fear, for the Lord my God is with me. He tells me that he will strengthen and help me. He will uphold me with his righteous hand.
As I consider this passage today, I can see that attitude is the fire in my bones that keeps me going or can cripple my progress. When my attitude is right, there is no barrier too high or valley too deep; hell has no challenge so great that I cannot defeat it with a water pistol.
However as a flawed person, I spend much of my time fretting over things that I cannot change instead of changing the things I can actually control. Given this I should not allow worry to steal my peace.
I am to serve the Lord with all my heart, soul, mind and body. If I do this, then he has told me that I will have a successful life; one drenched in His favor.
